No Cover But Sky
No Cover But Sky
24×26in high quality art print of original mixed media artwork.
My solo show opens today at Eastern Oregon University.
I have spent the last six months creating many new, large works for this show but this is one of my favorites so I am offering it as a limited edition print, available only through this Sunday (11/9). It will only be printed as many times as it is ordered so don't miss out!
The original is titled, "No Cover but Sky" 2025, and is a 40x44in mixed media artwork on wood panel that builds upon repurposed papers cut into circles on a grid. Layered with sketches, additional paper collage, and dynamically painted elements, this work offers a wealth of interesting details to discover.
The visible text is a passage from the 1916 Organic Act that created the National Parks and reads: “which purpose is to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations.”
